Bristol Airport announced more development last week after work began on a new £9.5million car park.
The first multi-storey car park on the airport’s site will hold more than 1,000 spaces and will be situated within a short walking distance of the terminal.
The car park will be open to the public in May 2018.
Andrew Goodenough, development director at the airport, said: “These developments demonstrate our continued commitment to enhance passenger facilities at Bristol Airport.
“The multi-storey car park will meet the demand for high quality and secure car parking.”
Goldbeck Construction has been appointed to build the car park, which will be of a steel modular construction.
The development follows recent improvements elsewhere across the site this year, including a £2.5million customer reception centre in the silver zone car park and a £2.3million upgrade to the immigration hall.
