A BAND of hardworking garden clearers has been honoured with its second community award this year for helping elderly residents and North Somerset organisations.
The Brandon Trust-supported team of 22, based at Nailsea’s Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, was presented with the organisation’s Asset Based Community Development Award at its annual awards ceremony in Bristol.
This follows a �1,000 national prize scooped by the group, who have learning disabilities.
