THE Backwell and Flax Bourton branch of the Royal British Legion has been presented with a trophy.

Chairman and secretary Doreen Smith was awarded the John Barnes Cup for running the most efficient small branch during the 
year.

The branch has won it before and members were delighted to be recognised for their hard work.

Organisers are currently looking for new members as well as a standard bearer.
