Members of a memory café spent the day learning new skills with Nailsea Indoor Bowling Club.

The memory café is a community group for people living with dementia and their carers.

It is one of a number of Memories at The Barn projects supported by the Nailsea Tithe Barn Trust to help people affected by the condition.

Karen Smith, co-ordinator of the café, said: "It is so important to ensure that people living with dementia do not feel isolated after their diagnosis and have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, to support their physical and mental wellbeing.

"I would like to say a huge thank you to the Nailsea Indoor Bowling Club volunteers who ensured our members had a very enjoyable afternoon and have kindly agreed to make this a regular event for our group."
