Book sale raises cash for youngsters

A book sale held by the Lions Club of Nailsea raised more than 300 for musical youngsters in North Somerset.

Scores of book fans queued up to buy novels and non-fiction books to raise cash for the worthy cause.

The majority of the money will be donated to Brass4Youth, to help parents to pay for brass instruments for the band.

The club is hoping to run another book stall later this year and is appealing for donations. To donate your books call Phil Taylor on 01275 462195.
