AN INTRUSIVE survey being delivered to homes in the Port Marine area of Portishead is not being carried out in conjunction with Portishead Town Council as it claims.

The document asks a range of questions including whether or not people get on with their neighbours and how much electricity they use and says it is working with Portishead Town Council.

Town clerk Martin Dolton said: “Residents have notified us of the survey and I can confirm that the town council is not aware it is involved in any survey of local residents.”

The survey includes a stamped addressed envelope labelled for the attention of an individual in Southville, Bristol.

The Times has contacted the survey’s author to find out more information about them, but they had failed to respond at the time of printing.
