A SUMMER soiree at Clevedon Court saw money raised for the town’s historic cinema.
Held on Saturday, the glamorous event at the National Trust property, organised by trustees and staff at the Curzon, included an auction of some impressive prizes including holidays, a signed Gloucestershire cricket bat, a signed Wallace and Gromit book courtesy of Aardman Animation and James Bond memorabilia.
Toby Pinn from Clevedon Salerooms acted as auctioneer for the event, which was also held to celebrate the cinema’s centenary year. Proceeds from the auction will go toward helping to fund the ongoing restoration of The Curzon Community Cinema in Old Church Road.
