A MOTORCYLIST has been taken to hospital with a suspected fractured hip after colliding with a car near Nailsea this morning (Wed).
The incident, which involved a Toyota Yaris, happened at about 10am in Clevedon Road, near to The Barn pub, and police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
The woman on the bike suffered a suspected broken hip and other fractures but her injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Police are still on the scene clearing debris from the road and it is believed the road will be cleared by 1pm.
