THIRTEEN children are preparing for a special performance at the Bristol Hippodrome to commemorate the theatre’s centenary.
Footlights Performance Academy will be taking centre stage for two nights in early July after impressing during auditions.
The show will track the Hippodrome’s history since its opening in 1912 through, song, drama and dance.
Tina Kelly, artistic director of the Flax Bourton group, said: “The success of the children at this audition is a testament to the hard work they put in at rehearsals every week and the continuing growth of the performance academy.”
