A JAMBOREE of energy related fun including solar panel making, pedal-powered household appliances, paint spinning and draught excluder making, make up Big Green Energy Day on Saturday.
The event, to increase awareness of domestic energy use, is being organised by environmental group, Sustainable Backwell, after being given a �40,000 national cash award.
The event, to a backdrop of music from Poppy Perezz and fiddle players, will be held at the WI Hall, in Station Road, from 10am-5pm.
Volunteers are wanted on the day and anyone who can help is asked to email Chris at sustainablebackwell@yahoo.co.uk or ask on the day.
