KEEN gardeners, cooks and wine-makers will be hoping for success at Barrow Gurney Flower Show with their best flowers, treats and tipples.
The show is taking place in the village hall from 2.45pm on August 20 and there are dozens of competition categories to enter with cash prizes for first, second and third place. Villagers can enter their flowers, fruit, vegetables, photos, wines, baked goods and crafts. There are also special classes for children from toddlers to teenagers.
