THREE Portishead barbers kept the razors well away from themselves for a month as they grew moustaches for charity.
Mark O’Hare, Dan Liddeatt and James Colbourn, of Mark’s Barbers in West Hill, joined the army of fundraisers who promised not to shave during the whole of November as part of the Movember movement.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces around the world, with the aim to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, especially prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Customers helped the West Hill barbers raise just more than 200 for the cause.
