n THE cheerful sound of the banjo resounded around Backwell as players from across the South West attended the International Banjo Circle’s annual rally in the village.
The popular event, which has been running for 20 years, attracted a wide range of musicians, from award-winning players to beginners, who enjoyed performing throughout the day.
Festivities were brought to a close with a rally supper and live music event at the Bridge Inn in Yatton.
