NAILSEA residents awoke this morning (Fri) to see huge numbers of hot air balloons in the sky above.
The balloons had launched from Ashton Court as part of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and this was one of seven mass ascents due to take place during the event, which runs until Sunday.
The direction of the morning’s wind meant more than 100 colourful balloons of different shapes and sizes were blown over North Somerset with many landing in the district’s fields.
