UNWANTED handbags were put on sale to help raise money for a Nailsea charity.
The sale at CGA Personnel in Clevedon was organised by Ruth Moult to collect cash for the West of England MS Therapy Centre.
Ruth, aged 47 of Bennetts Way, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 20 years ago and has visited the centre in Southfield Road, Nailsea, for treatment and support ever since.
She used to run CGA Personnel in Clevedon and was pleased when they allowed her to use the office to hold the sale.
A total of 420 was raised on the day and Ruth hopes to break the 500-mark by selling the remaining handbags she has been donated at the Clevedon Flower Show and Festival, which is being held on the Salthouse Fields on August 27-28.
