Revellers raised £3,000 for school funds at the Backwell Festival

BANDS took to the stage at the Backwell Festival to raise money for school funds.

Local bands entertained pupils and parents as they took part in the many activities on offer at Backwell Junior School’s popular festival.

A group of year four pupils were also chosen to sing with the Zahkele group on the day. The festival raised more than £3,000 which will go towards the school library and a new cookery area for the pupils.
