Backwell collision shuts A370
TWO cars collided in Backwell last night (Thurs) closing the A370 for almost three hours.
A Jaguar and a Ford Ka were involved in a collision on West Town Road at 6.10pm and the road was closed until 8.44pm while fire crews cut the female driver of the Ka out of her vehicle.
The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries, while the male driver of the Jaguar escaped unharmed.
