An 15-year-old animator scooped first prize in a creative showdown.

Clevedon School’s Jacob Foster is destined for the big time after producing numerous animations over several years since starting designing when he was 12 years old.

He has gone on to place first for CGI animation and design and plans a career pursuing his hobby.

He is also hoping to secure work experience for June in a related field.

Jacob said: “I am so delighted to win this prize.

“I would love to be able to do animation and game design for the rest of my career.”

Head of art, Tom Helme, said: “Jacob is quite simply incredible. We just pointed him in the right direction and he has absolutely run with it.

“His work is years ahead of his age and he is also a superb character, extremely dedicated and very humble.”
