The pier is inviting people to take part in the craft project - A Snapshot in Stitches - which celebrates the rich history of the landmark and the people who have supported it.

The fabric base is being filled with images created by the community, from simple designs to more complex stitches including appliqué, embellishments and wool embroidery.

The project represents in stitches the fabric of people who have supported the pier throughout its history and marks a bright and diverse future.

People have been taking part in workshops at the pier to work on the colourful creation.
