THE contributions made by members of the armed forces to their country were recognised in a special parade at the weekend.
The parade, led by Avon Glen Pipe and Drum Band, also involved the Portishead Town Band at Salthouse Fields in Clevedon. The service was conducted by Major William Slade of the Salvation Army and was organised by Clevedon Royal British Legion.
