About 60 people took part in Pill’s Friends of Watchhouse Hill apple pressing event.

Three presses were in operation at the community orchard in Watchhouse Hill which people could use to squeeze the apples they had picked and taste their own apple juice made from the latest crop.

Free apple cake and bun sampling was on offer while information about all of the different types of apple that are grown in the orchard was available.
