A RECORD number of people took part in a special apple-themed day in Pill.
The annual apple day was held at the orchard on Watchhouse Hill with demonstrations, games, a treasure hunt and singing for visitors to enjoy.
There was also food and cider tasting during the successful day, whic was organised by the Friends of Watchhouse Hill and dedicated to celebrating the apple.
