Organisers of Christian Aid week are appealing for people to give generously to the cause.
The national appeal runs from May 12-18 when red envelopes will be posted through people’s doors asking for donations to help the poor and sick across the world.
Last year donors in Nailsea gave a generous £6,920 to the cause and organisers are reminding people to gift aid their donations this year.
