Staff at Backwell Junior School are appealing to villagers to slow down when driving near the site.
A number of parents have expressed concern about speeding cars and parents parking dangerously when picking up their children.
Staff at the school, in Church Lane, are urging people to park sensibly and drive carefully, particularly at school opening and closing times.
