Appeal over plans for 59 new homes in Wrington
PUBLISHED: 06:57 14 February 2017
Plans to build almost 60 homes in Wrington will be taken by a planning inspector after North Somerset Council’s busy planning team failed to make a decision in time.
Developer Redcliffe Homes wanted to build 83 houses close to Coxs Green but reduced its plans to 59 amid opposition.
A council spokesman said the developer has lodged an appeal after planners took too long to decide on the application. Its planning committee will discuss the proposal at its March meeting and make a recommendation to the appeal inspector.
