Artistic residents of Gorselands Rest Home in Clevedon are hoping more homes in the area will submit entries to the annual Portishead Spring Flower Show which will take place this year on March 14.

The ladies are busy planning their floral arrangements and craft items for this year as well as practising their baking skills with carers at the home in The Avenue.

Last year’s winner was Gorselands’ Gladys Pilbrow who was awarded the Dawn Mullan Cup which is won by entrants currently living in a residential home.

Show entries have dwindled recently and the residents are hoping that more homes will enter. For more details on the Spring show call 01275 848984.
