POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing 38-year-old man from Clevedon.

Jeff Purnell was reported missing from his home at 9am yesterday (Sat), although it is thought he may have left earlier that morning.

He is thought to have left his medication behind and may appear to be confused and withdrawn. He is likely to be on foot as he does not drive.

Jeff is described as a white man, about 5ft 9ins tall, of medium weight and stocky build. He has green eyes and his light brown hair is short/shaven. When he went missing he was wearing a dark coloured duffle coat and blue jeans.

Extensive searches have been held throughout the day in the Clevedon area to try to find Jeff.
