Appeal for fundraisers to join Charity Walks event

There is still time to register for the Rotary Charity Walks and Runs in Nailsea.

The event has raised more than £120,000 for a variety of charities over the past seven years.

This year's mass sponsored walk takes place on June 9 and there 5km, 10km and 20km routes for people to tackle.

All routes start and finish at Scotch Horn Leisure Centre and participants can choose which charity they would like to support.

Organisers are hoping to reach their target of £150,000 and are appealing for people to sign up.

Registration is £7 for people over 18 and free for everyone under 17.

Everyone completing one of the three courses will receive a medal and a certificate, along with water and fruit from Tesco.
