In CELEBRATION of its 125th anniversary, Clevedon Golf Club is appealing to members and residents to lend any old mementoes or photographs they may have for the occasion.

The club, in Castle Road, will celebrate the milestone next year and has also set up a sub-committee, led by chairman David Fife, to organise a series of activities to commemorate the landmark occasion.

Club members are particularly on the lookout for an early picture of golf being played on the original course between the Salthouse Fields and Wains Hill.

Anyone who thinks they may have something of interest can call Richard Dix, club press officer, on 01275 791514 or email
