A best-selling author will visit Portishead next week.
Anna Jacobs will be at Somerset Hall in The Precinct at 7.30pm on August 9.
She has is the fourth most borrowed adult author from public libraries in the UK and has just published her 81st novel.
Her past works include romance, historical sagas and fantasy novels.
While in Portishead, Anna will speak about her life and explain how she sets about writing three novels a year.
She now lives in Australia but is in England for research, and her visit to the town will be one of only two taking place in the South West.
Staff from Clevedon’s Books On The Hill store will also be at the event to sell copies of her latest books.
