THE president of Clevedon’s Inner Wheel Club has been handed a chain of office to become president of a whole district of clubs.
Ann Fox is now the leader of district 10, which includes Inner Wheel groups in the Worcester, Gloucester, Bristol and North Somerset area.
She was presented with her chain by outgoing president, Nicky Clark, during a summer rally event held in Filton, which was attended by more than 100 people.
Inner Wheel clubs consist of women whose husbands are part of Rotary clubs as well as their family members and anyone they invite to join.
As well as taking part in social events, they carry out work in the community and fundraise for charity.
