A parish council has said it will not meet with a housing developer which wants to build 70 homes on green fields.

Congresbury Parish Council has received a letter from house-builder Gladman Homes, which said the developer was considering submitting a planning application to build the 70-home development off Wrington Lane near Cobthorn Way.

At its most recent meeting on Monday, parish council chairman Di Hassan said: “It (Gladman) can engage when we are writing the neighbourhood plan. We do not want a meeting.”
