All change on the buses

BUS timetables have undergone a major overhaul across North Somerset.
Some services have been axed and others extended or substituted.
The 351 service from Weston to Bristol via Congresbury, Yatton and Backwell has been axed.
Although it will be replaced by other services running more frequently, these will not stop at all of the same places.
The Bristol to Nailsea 354 bus timetable has been changed, with one new journey added in at 6.35am from Bristol bus station to Portishead and the 358 and 359 ones to town will have times altered so they are more evenly spread across peak periods.
New slots are being added into the timetables for the 361 Bristol to Clevedon and with the 362 and 363 starting and ending at the same places, the timings have been changed slightly.
The transport giant has also decided to stop all early morning and early evening journeys for the Weston to Bristol routes going via the Oldmixon and Coronation estates and says it will be changing and increasing these journeys to make the timetable more evenly spaced.
There are also now additional journeys from Weston to Bristol and back at the weekends, but one slot is being withdrawn for the X24 and X25 services from Weston to Cribbs Causeway via Clevedon.
First says the changes are part of a plan to improve the punctuality and reliability of services.
Regional network manager Simon Newport said: “Our intention is to make sure our buses are as punctual as possible and that, in accordance with the rule set out by the traffic commissioner, our services are no more than one minute early or five minutes late.”
