More than £1,000 was raised for charity thanks to a pub’s inaugural festival serving the region’s favourite tipple.
The George Inn, in Abbots Leigh, held its first cider festival on June 29.
Hundreds of guests enjoyed the sunshine as a barbecue, hog roast, bouncy castle and live music from The Sirens were available, while more than 10 ciders were served in the beer garden.
Raffle prizes were donated by Long Ashton Golf Club and Bristol City Football Club among other businesses, which raised cash for Children's Hospice South West.
The public house, in Manor Road, reopened in October after being closed for the past year and listed as an asset of community value by North Somerset Council.
The building is one of the oldest in the village, dating back to the 18th century.
