WALLACE and Gromit will be having a grand day out in Wraxall after teaming up with the National Trust to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The much-loved Aardman Animation characters will appear in a special mini film as the pair prepare to celebrate the national holiday.

Tyntesfield will screen the one-minute animation – called A Jubilee Bunt-a-thon – on June 4 as part of its own celebrations marking Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th anniversary of taking to the throne.

The short film will only be screened at the National Trust’s attractions and Wallace and Gromit have been met with a royal seal. Camilla once described them as her ‘favourite people in the world’ and on a par with Prince Charles.
