THERE is an air of expectancy in Portishead following suggestions that the town may experience something unusual later this week.
On April 27 last year, the town woke up to a yarn bombing experience, where familiar statues throughout the town had been dressed in brightly coloured woolly clothes.
The mysterious operation had been carried out by members of Portishead Church of England (C of E) to highlight a fundraising campaign to help re-roof St Nicholas Church.
According to C of E clergy, another mysterious scheme involving 12 locations in the town is expected to be unveiled on Friday.
