GYM instructors and members in North Somerset are taking part in a nationwide challenge to walk, run, ride or row one million miles.
The six-week challenge has been set by Kinetika gyms and JustTextGiving by Vodafone and is being undertaken by people at Strode Leisure Centre in Clevedon and Parish Wharf Leisure Centre in Portishead.
In Clevedon, four staff members have signed up and bosses hope to get five per cent of the gym’s members to also take part.
All money raised during the challenge will be donated to Penny Brohn Cancer Care in Pill.
