AVON and Somerset Constabulary is looking for up to 120 new police officers in its latest recruitment drive.

In this first stage, which is open until February 20, interested candidates are being asked to complete an online registration and eligibility check.

The next stage is an online assessment and application form.

There is no limit to the number of people who can apply.

Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens said: “Policing is a challenging and rewarding job and it is vital that the service reflects the communities it serves.

“Opportunities to recruit police officers over the next few years will be few and far between so I hope people will strongly consider this exciting opportunity now.”
