Beavers and group leaders from the Gordano scouting district

BEAVER Scouts from 10 groups across the Gordano district of North Somerset took part in 24 hours of friendship and fun.

The sleep over event at Huish Scout Camp near Taunton saw members of scouting’s youngest section, aged six to eight, take part in a range of activities including orienteering, arts and crafts, shelter building and campfire singing.

Thanks to the good weather, most of the time was spent outdoors before the beavers bedded down for the night.
