A girl guiding group has marked its 50th anniversary this week.

The 1st Clevedon West Guides and Rangers celebrated the landmark occasion and would now like to welcome back former guides for a reunion.

The group is inviting anyone who was a member over the past 50 years to attend a meeting on November 30 at 7.45pm.

There has been a number of units in Clevedon so if the names Nadine, Janet, Julie, Leona and Alison were a captain or guide leader when you attended, you may have belonged to this branch of the guides.

If you think you were a member and would like to attend the anniversary party, email for details of where the event is due to take place.
