A quilting group in Portishead has raised more than £1,300 for a cancer support charity.
Portishead Quilters donated £1,305 to Penny Brohn UK through fundraising efforts, with most of the money raised at their bi-annual quilting exhibition.
Elizabeth Williams, a member of Portishead Quilters, said: "Several of our members have experienced cancer or have cared for a loved one with cancer, so we wanted to support our local cancer charity.
"Most of the money was raised at our bi-annual quilting exhibition and visitors to the exhibition were very happy to be supporting Penny Brohn UK as many of them had benefitted from their services."

Penny Brohn UK offers holistic support to those living with cancer, including nutritional therapy, counselling, and wellbeing activities.
Chrissie Rafti from Penny Brohn UK said: "We are very grateful to Portishead Quilters for their support.
"This funding will help us continue the important work we do to provide a wide range of services such as nutritional sessions, relaxation and wellbeing days and yoga classes."
Portishead Quilters meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month, except August, at Redcliffe Bay Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and welcome new members.
