Nailsea Town Council is calling for volunteers to help with road closures for the Remembrance Day Parade.
The parade, a significant part of Nailsea’s annual commemorations, is at risk of being shortened without enough volunteers.
Helpers are needed to manage temporary road closures along the route on Sunday, November 8.
If not enough volunteers come forward, the parade will only run a short distance from the end of Church Lane to the memorial stone.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Your support will help ensure that the Remembrance Day Parade can take place safely and respectfully, allowing the community to come together to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed.
"We would be very grateful for your help."
Those willing to help should fill out the form and read the risk assessment at nailseatowncouncil.gov.uk/2026/08/volunteers-needed-for-nailsea-remembrance-day-parade.
Volunteers do not need to be members of the council or have previous experience.
They will be given all necessary information and will assist with road closures at designated points.
