Two national businesses have teamed up to improve the lawns at Nailsea District Croquet Club.
Lister Wilder and Howard's Group brought in a new Kubota tractor and a Sisis overseeder to rejuvenate the lawns.
The club's lawns, like many others, had suffered from the harsh weather patterns of 2025.
The overseeding of all four lawns, equivalent to eight tennis courts, was organised by John Wallace from the club.
The task took about four hours to complete.
The seed is expected to germinate in the warm weather, helped by the club's automatic irrigation system, partly funded by a National Grid grant.
The members of the club expressed their gratitude for the "amazing support" given by these businesses.
