A mother of one has launched creative workshops for all ages and abilities in Portishead.
Amy Cox, from The Creation Station, is so excited to get going.
She said: "I love that I have the opportunity to bring specially designed art and crafts activities to Portishead, that will hopefully spark an enthusiasm and excitement to encourage others to find their creative and unique side whilst having fun and getting to socialise."
The workshops cater to all ages, starting with the "tiny treasures" sessions for newborns up to six months.
These are bonding sessions aimed at creating keepsakes and will be held once a month.
As the babies grow, they can join the Baby Discovery and Little Explorers sessions at the Portishead Methodist Hall, which are designed for children from six months up to five years.
These sessions allow children to discover and play with textures and colours using their senses.
The Creation Station also offers Family Fun sessions, allowing families to create together with children up to 11 years old on weekends and during school holidays.
For adults, there are various art workshops, including Care and Create, Paint and Sip, and Creative Crafters.
These workshops, which can be held at local restaurants and bars, aim to blend creativity, art, and socialisation, helping to reduce stress and promote mindfulness.
They can also be done as Creative Get Togethers, suitable for hen parties and team-building events.
In addition to the workshops, The Creation Station also supports local community events and charities, including the Portishead Community Market, The Little People UK carnival event, and Christmas and summer fayres at local schools.
Sarah Cressall OBE, founder and CEO of The Creation Station, said: "Creativity is a force for good, and I am delighted that we are able to bring educational and entertaining creative experiences to the local community in Portishead."
