RESIDENTS and staff at Cadbury Hall in Yatton enjoyed a lovely day full of gift-giving and an evening buffet in celebration of Father’s Day on June 16.
With the lovely warm weather, residents were able to enjoy meeting up with loved ones in the home’s garden to enjoy an afternoon tea.
Staff and residents enjoyed a buffet that included everyone’s favorites followed by some lovely cakes and biscuits prepared by the home’s talented head chef, Jack.
Audrene Abrigo, general manager of the home, said: “We’ve all had a wonderful day today welcoming friends and family into the home.
“Occasions like Father’s Day are so important, it was fantastic to have such a lovely gathering with our residents and their loved ones all together enjoying the sunshine.”
John, a resident at Cadbury Hall, said: “I’m truly touched by this gesture from the home, I am here to recover after a stay in hospital and cannot thank the staff enough for what they have done, being away from my children today, this has indeed meant a lot to me.”
Audrene also added: “Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental, and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.”
