A FIRE believed to have been started by "direct sunlight refraction" caused damage to a property in Walton-in-Gordano earlier this morning (Wednesday, May 15).

Crews from Clevedon and Portishead Firefighters were called to the scene just after 10.30am, where they discovered a blaze which had started on the first floor.
