A PORTISHEAD road is being cleaned today (Thursday, April 4) for a trial for weed management without Glyphosate.
Residents are being urged to avoid parking on St Peters Road to help with the clean, which will be carried out "to the highest standard."
Speaking yesterday (Wednesday, April 3), a North Somerset Recycling and Waste team spokesperson said: "North Somerset Council are cleaning the entire length of St Peters Road in Portishead including all the off shoots on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to the highest standard.
"This is part of a trial for weed management without Glyphosate.
"After this volunteers will manage the road and off shoots throughout the coming year. To help with the clean, if possible, please avoid parking on the road on Thursday."
