Clevedon Yeo Rotary has donated £500 for a defibrillator at the Curzon cinema.
The cinema has recently reported multiple incidents requiring the life-saving device to be fetched by staff from elsewhere.
Maggie, the club president, said: "We are happy to support this initiative which is possible using funds raised from our local events".
Separately, the club will also be running more fundraising activities in the spring, including a fun quiz and a race night.
