THERE'S plenty to get up to in Weston this weekend, whether it be enjoying live music, laughing your socks off, or taking a cold water dip.

The Visit Weston-super-Mare team have outlined some of the major events happening in and around the town.

From 7pm tonight (Friday, January 26) the Lipinski brothers will be performing at Revo Kitchen.

If it's comedy you are after, you should check out The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly comedy show at the Front Room Theatre. There will be a show tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm.

Residents can enjoy traditional wassail fun at Tyntesfield House on Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm.

Later that same day, at 9pm, The Soul Strutters will take to the stage at The Brit Bar.

From 1pm on Sunday, residents can take a cold water dip at Clevedon's Marine Lake. Posting on Facebook, the Visit Weston-super-Mare team outlined this event: "Weston and Clevedon's large band of cold water swimmers are in for a real treat.

"They are invited to Clevedon's Marine Lake for a 1pm winter dip before decamping to the town's wonderful and historic Curzon Cinema for a film on the topic and a talk from open water swimmer Lindsey Cole who recently swam from Penarth to Clevedon and dedicated open water swimmer Mark Millar of Channel 5’s Build Your Dream Home in the Country and BBC’s DIY SOS."
