PRIOR approval is being sought to turn a first floor commercial unit into a residential flat in Nailsea.

The planning application for 12 Colliers Walk was validated on Wednesday, December 20.

The unit currently acts as the Young Lives vs Cancer store.

The application's design and access statement reads: "The proposal is to create one new dwelling over the existing ground floor commercial unit and proposed works and external alterations to the ground floor unit.

"The new flat will be served off an existing external communal walkway that is shared with the existing Colliers Walk dwellings.
